About the role
Product-minded engineer focused on building customer-facing features, collaborating across design and engineering, and taking features from development through launch. Drives UX, performance, and scale while shaping product direction and engineering approaches.
Responsibilities
- Building the full lifecycle: Partnering with design and engineering to architect and ship customer-facing functionality from the ground up
- Solving complex technical challenges: Tackle difficult problems, from optimizing virtualized rendering to architecting reliable content management system
- Driving user experience: Contributing to a frictionless UX, handling the last-mile refinements that transform working code into a great product
- Performance and scale: Enhancing application speed through profiling and build scalable solutions that evolve with our growing user base
- Shaping product direction and engineering approaches across the stack
Qualifications
- 4+ years of software development experience
- A technical “spike”: Experience in either Frontend (React, Next.js, TypeScript, component architecture, state management, rendering performance) or Backend (systems design, API architecture, database optimization)
- Strong product intuition and care about the "why" as much as the "how" when building user-facing software
- Adaptable and willing to jump into new territory across the stack to ship a feature
- Appreciates a high degree of ownership and thrives when defining solutions rather than following a spec
- Eager to talk directly with customers and use those insights to shape what we build
