About the role

MBA internship role in Robinhood Ventures focused on researching, evaluating, and supporting late-stage investments, with in-person attendance required in Menlo Park, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Research and sourcing – identify markets/sectors and key companies Robinhood Ventures should meet.
  • Investment evaluation – assist deal team with diligence workstreams including financial modeling, competitive analysis, and investment theses.
  • Platform building – collaborate with Product, Operations, Marketing, Legal, and others to create experiences in the Robinhood app to differentiate Robinhood Ventures for retail investors and portfolio companies.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a full-time MBA program
  • Prior experience in investment banking, private equity, or finance at a high-growth company with fluency in financial modeling, valuation analysis, and market research; late-stage investing or venture capital experience is a plus
  • Intellectual curiosity and interest in emerging technologies and private companies driving them
  • Existing network in the startup ecosystem or drive to build one
  • Proven ability to work independently in lean, high-output environments, with cross-functional collaboration experience
