About the role

Senior HRBP to support Belvedere Trading's Technology and Platform departments with organizational design, workforce planning, and scaling of technical teams; partner with leadership to translate roadmaps into people strategies and manage performance, development, and employee relations in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Technology and Platform business heads to set the people strategy, translating engineering roadmaps and departmental goals into action across hiring, engagement, development, performance, and retention.
  • Lead organizational design for a large, complex technical organization: assess structures, spans of control, reporting lines, and role definitions; recommend changes to support scale.
  • Own workforce planning at scale: build multi-quarter headcount plans by team and skill set, model growth scenarios, and test plans against budget and delivery commitments.
  • Build and maintain leveling and career frameworks for technical roles across engineering, infrastructure, and platform teams.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition on high-volume and specialized technical hiring; set priorities around headcount sequencing, timelines, role requirements, and candidate experience.
  • Scale onboarding and ramp-up for technical hires: ensure smooth transition from offer to integration including compliance and systems access.
  • Hold managers accountable for early talent success: ensure 30-, 60-, and 90-day milestones and development plans.
  • Grow the people manager bench by coaching first-time managers and partnering on leadership development and communication skills.
  • Define learning priorities for Technology and Platform with the Talent Development Specialist; map development paths to leveling framework.
  • Set and reinforce performance expectations; guide goal setting, calibration, performance reviews, feedback cycles, and development planning.
  • Advise leadership on compensation and rewards for technical talent, including benchmarking, equity and bonus structures, and retention actions.
  • Serve as a trusted people leader, addressing concerns, navigating escalations, and protecting a high-integrity, high-performance culture.
  • Lead people-side change management for reorganizations, platform initiatives, and operating model shifts; plan communications and enable managers.
  • Leverage people data to identify trends, risks, and inform leadership decisions related to attrition, performance, engagement, span-of-control, and workforce planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related field (Master’s or HR certification a plus).
  • 5+ years of strategic HR Partner experience.
  • Proven background in big tech, fintech, or high-growth environments preferred.
  • Strong business acumen with understanding of trading/investment business dynamics, incentives, and culture.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and influencing skills; credibility with senior leadership and teams.
  • Strong conflict resolution, coaching, and employee-relations skills.
  • Solid knowledge of employment law, compliance, compensation practices, and HR best practices.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment, manage sensitive matters, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to use HR data to drive decision-making.
  • Integrity, discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality.
