About the role

Role focused on in-person and speaking engagements to raise Trigger.dev awareness in the San Francisco developer ecosystem. 100% events-focused, including attending events, securing speaking slots, delivering talks, and potentially organizing/co-hosting events.

Responsibilities

  • Turn up to events, meet developers, advocate for Trigger, be brilliant - attending SF developer events, meetups, AI Tinkers, YC events, and conferences, building genuine relationships across the SF developer and founder ecosystem
  • Get speaking slots at existing events, deliver awesome talks - pitching for talks and panels, presenting polished talks
  • Organize our own events (or co-host them with other big tech names) - running Trigger.dev meetups or talks, exploring joint events like hackathons at YC offices
  • Optionally writing blog recaps or producing short YouTube clips of talks, where it’s a natural byproduct of the work
  • Working largely independently - self-motivated, often in SF with little day-to-day oversight
  • Reporting back on activity: number of events attended, video of talks given, and written recap of who was met

Qualifications

  • Genuine stage presence and charisma (video evidence of speaking, presenting, or performing)
  • A developer background; credibility with engineers
  • High self-motivation and ability to thrive independently
  • Genuine belief in Trigger.dev and representation in rooms you attend
