About the role

Design Engineer to elevate UX and visual quality across product and marketing surfaces. Hands-on, production-focused role blending design sensibility with engineering ability to build polished UI from rough concepts without traditional design-to-dev handoff.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and building high-quality, polished UI across web app and marketing site
  • Work closely with engineering to build new features with design craft and great UX
  • Owning design decisions end-to-end from rough concept through shipped production code
  • Building and evolving design system and component library for scalable quality
  • Improving accessibility, responsiveness, and interaction polish across product surfaces
  • Prototyping new ideas quickly in code and static mockups to enable fast iteration
  • Helping instil a stronger design/UX sensibility across the wider engineering team

Qualifications

  • A strong portfolio showing design quality and ability to ship real, production UI
  • Expertise in modern frontend engineering - React and TypeScript (Remix)
  • Sharp eye for visual and interaction detail (typography, spacing, motion)
  • Comfort working from problem statements to drive design decisions without a fully-specced design
  • Remote candidates must be within CET to ET timezones (GMT+1 to GMT-5); in-person events arranged through the year
