About the role

Senior Opto-Mechanical Engineer in the CPO group developing opto-mechanical components and systems, leading projects from concept to implementation, collaborating with global vendors and cross-functional teams, on-site in Yokneam, Israel.

Responsibilities

  • Developing opto-mechanical components and systems with precision and innovation.
  • Conducting assembly and testing, including fabricating the essential jigs and fixtures for smooth execution.
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure outstanding product development.
  • Leading high-reaching projects from concept through successful implementation, ensuring they meet NVIDIA’s high standards.
  • Lead development and collaborate with global vendors to ensure on time delivery of products.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering
  • A minimum of 5 years working in the development of opto-mechanical components or systems
  • Proven experience in defining and conducting tests including crafting all supporting jigs and fixtures
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a diverse and inclusive global environment
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts
  • Experience with CREO or Solid works 3D CAD software
