About the role

PCB layout engineer for high-speed, high-density PCBs using Cadence Allegro, focusing on layout development, SI/ EMI considerations, and manufacturing documentation for NVIDIA products.

Responsibilities

  • Perform PCB layout of high speed/high-density PCBs for multiple NVIDIA business units using Cadence PCB design tools.
  • Develop CAD layout from symbol creation, floor planning, detailed component placement, and constraints management with topology and signal/trace integrity considerations.
  • Generate artwork files, ODB++, and electronic PCB documentation for design releases.
  • Ensure designs comply with SI constraints, EMI/RFI control, FCC, UL, European regulations, IPC specifications and NRC regulations.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. in Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in high-speed design
  • Detailed knowledge of circuit design and considerations for layout, routing, and timing constraints; DFM, DFA, DFT constraints for volume manufacturing
  • Proficiency with Cadence Allegro PCB design tools
  • Deep understanding of HDI PCB layout and PCB Signal Integrity
  • Knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes for HDI, standard through-hole, and back-drilling
  • Ability to work in a team and take personal responsibility
  • Agility to adapt to evolving needs
  • Strong leadership, communication, and presentation abilities
