About the role

Google software engineer role focused on Lavaflow, a next-generation experiment data processing solution. Responsibilities include owning the Lavaflow debugging roadmap, building autonomous skills and tracing tools, and enabling automated end-to-end issues debugging in collaboration with client teams such as BARD.

Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of the AI-motivated Lavaflow debugging roadmap, evolving PoCs and existing workflows into production-grade agentic tools.
  • Build autonomous skills, agent solutions, and deep tracing tools into the Lavaflow ecosystem.
  • Collaborate directly with client teams like BARD to enable automated end-to-end issues debugging, minimizing mean time to resolve and developer friction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
  • 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
  • Experience with distributed systems, software architecture, or system design.
