About the role

Hybrid Salesforce role combining development (Apex, integrations, Lightning) with platform administration. Responsible for day-to-day operations, feature delivery, integrations with internal tools and AWS services, and ensuring a smooth experience for business teams across Sales, Operations, and Customer Advisory for the Amazon Business India Salesforce instance serving 500+ users.

Responsibilities

  • Administration: Configure Salesforce features (user management, security, custom objects, page layouts, validation rules, workflows, Flows, and Process Builders); platform hygiene (environment refresh, AppExchange management, maintenance); handle Salesforce support requests; collaborate with product owners on project roll-outs (training and end-user troubleshooting); monitor system health and identify Salesforce optimization opportunities.
  • Development: Design and develop Apex classes, triggers, and batch jobs; build Lightning Components and Visualforce pages; develop integrations with internal tools and AWS services via REST/SOAP APIs; write and optimize SOQL/SOSL; implement JavaScript and Python scripts; maintain Git and release practices; ensure security with SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, SSL; design MCP integrations to connect Salesforce with AWS/Retail/Ads; build Einstein AI Copilot configurations; manage data models and ETL/ELT pipelines and real-time sync with external systems.
  • Cross-Cutting: Partner with system product owners; document root cause analyses; consult with stakeholders on performance, scalability, and usability.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a business-to-business (B2B) environment, high-tech products/services
  • Knowledge of and proficiency in the use of Python scripting language
  • Experience working with Git or an equivalent distributed version control system
  • Experience in AWS services
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
  • Must have managed a Salesforce instance of 500+ users
  • Proficiency in JavaScript
  • Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) integrations or similar AI/LLM orchestration frameworks
  • Familiarity with data modeling, ETL/ELT pipeline design, and data management within Salesforce ecosystems.
