About the role

Amazon is seeking Transportation Area Managers to work throughout the country, focusing on safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity within their department. The role involves leading and developing a team of Transportation Associates, driving process improvements, and ensuring operational excellence in logistics and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with site leadership on quality and Customer Experience metrics, including root cause analysis of problem areas
  • Streamline logistics in the operation through the implementation of standard work and team leadership
  • Support and commit to all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates
  • Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools
  • Lead and manage a team of Transportation Associates to ensure training, safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery
  • Lead change at internet speed to drive innovation across the operation

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of employee and performance management experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
