About the role

AWS Infrastructure Services designs, delivers, and operates AWS global infrastructure. The Infra-Delivery Install Technician supports the installation and maintenance of network infrastructure and enterprise equipment across regional work areas, with emphasis on safety, cabling, and scalable deployment in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Moving and implementing large enterprise equipment
  • Installing Fiber and Copper cabling and patching cabling between equipment
  • Ensuring proper safety and security standards are maintained during cabling and rack installation
  • Following well established hardware installation procedures and break-fix activities
  • Safely using material handling tools and equipment
  • Traveling within and outside of regional work area and providing reliable transportation per company requirements

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of Computer Hardware Repair, Infrastructure Cabling, Network Deployment, or Data Center Operations experience, or experience in similar technical or vocational roles
  • High School diploma or equivalent
