About the role

Senior SAP FICO Solutions Architect responsible for leading SAP Finance (FICO) modernisation and integration within Amazon Leo's SAP S/4HANA environment, including blueprint, design, implementation, and cross-functional collaboration to enable scalable manufacturing of satellites and ground gateway terminals in a start-up-like setting.

Responsibilities

  • Build SAP Finance based product vision and solutions
  • Identify and implement best practices to optimise business processes using SAP
  • Conduct Blueprint workshops, fit-gap analysis and produce detailed design documents
  • Identify change management and training needs, support creating training documentation and lead train-the-trainer sessions
  • Participate in strategic planning and roadmap discussions for SAP finance solutions
  • Manage quarter planning, sprint planning, deployment for product feature enhancements
  • Define critical metrics including success metrics, product adoption, and data-driven insights
  • Prepare product design, functional specifications, configure, test and support implementation for all SAP RICEFW areas
  • Build and support integration with cross-workstream processes - SAP PP, EWM, MM, SAP MES system
  • Support SAP Production system for ticket resolutions and business needs
  • Team player contributing to collective success
  • Manage portfolio of SAP FICO projects from design to deployment including integration with Amazon Corporate systems
  • Build deployment project plans and manage risks
  • Develop use cases with software development teams and manage dependencies
  • Participate in Proof of Concepts (POCs) using SAP S/4HANA
  • Unit Test, System Integration Test, User Acceptance Test, and User Training participation
  • Apply knowledge of business processes for SAP S/4HANA ERP functionality (GL, AP, Project System, Costing, etc.)
  • Configure SAP S/4HANA FICO to meet requirements with integration to PP, MM, PS, SD
  • Navigate ambiguity and drive cross-functional consensus
  • Gather requirements from Finance, Accounting & Tax and collaborate on high-level design and configuration for training

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field
  • 6+ years of implementing and managing SAP ERP solutions with SAP S/4HANA experience
  • 3+ years analyzing, creating system specifications, and developing tests for SAP Finance
  • Hands-on SAP FI modules experience (Finance, Controlling, Asset Management)
  • 6+ years delivering end-to-end SAP design and implementation
  • Strong understanding of financial and accounting processes and core FI modules (GL, Project System, Product Costing, etc.)
  • Knowledge of FI integration with MM and PP
  • Ability to analyze financial data, perform reconciliations, and troubleshoot issues
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including Finance and Supply Chain
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills
