About the role

Embedded Software Development engineer to build and own server-related firmware for AWS Infrastructure Services. Work with a diverse team across software, hardware, and network disciplines to develop, validate, and support firmware across embedded and large-scale distributed systems in data center infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Server Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) Software.
  • Scripting language development.
  • Data Center Operation Support.
  • Linux driver development.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • Experience in embedded development in C/C++
  • Knowledge of system performance, memory management, and parallel computing principles
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
  • 3+ years of embedded firmware development experience
