Responsibilities

  • Communicating with customers directly in-person, by phone, and by email

  • Resolving issues and setting appropriate expectations with customers
  • Understanding and responding to customer issues
  • Composing grammatically correct, concise, and accurate written responses
  • Approaching problems logically to ensure the appropriate customer outcome
  • Making quick and effective decisions on behalf of the customer
  • Carrying, lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 49 pounds (physical tasks)
  • Standing and walking for shifts up to 12 hours
  • Working in variable/noisy environments with possible temperature variation
  • Based at a last-mile delivery warehouse and coordinating with warehouse, delivery partners, and customers to resolve issues
  • Developing logistical and customer service expertise within Amazon’s supply chain context

Qualifications

  • High school or equivalent
  • Experience in Customer Service
  • Experience working with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Experience prioritizing and managing time effectively in dynamic environments
  • Experience working with computer and web-based tools
