About the role

Role focused on driving growth and adoption of AWS services within US State & Local Government (SLG) Finance, Administration, Tax & Revenue verticals, defining and executing go-to-market strategy for government finance, tax, and back-office transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead go-to-market strategy for SLG Finance, Administration, Tax & Revenue verticals (FACT), and drive growth and adoption of AWS services within US SLG/EDU segments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and execute complex, multi-year initiatives across government finance, tax authorities and back-office operations.
  • Structure and negotiate complex agreements; orchestrate cross-functional teams to complete deals.
  • Present to both technical and non-technical executive audiences to articulate value propositions and technical roadmaps.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of finance, tax or related analytical field experience
  • 5+ years of tax, finance or related analytical field experience
  • Experience presenting to executive audiences (technical and non-technical)
  • Experience with technology platform sales, government IT, data centers, cloud services and cloud adoption
  • 3+ years working directly with government officials and regulatory bodies
  • Experience in structuring and negotiating complex agreements and leading cross-functional groups to close deals
