About the role

AWS Global Sales drives adoption of the AWS cloud worldwide by providing tailored service, technology, and architecture guidance. The Solutions Architect team partners with customers and AWS teams to design scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures and to help migrate workloads to AWS, particularly focusing on generative AI architectures and AWS services.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in deep architectural and design discussions to create world-class solutions built on AWS while ensuring solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
  • Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable them to be cloud advocates.
  • Author and contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers and proof of concepts.
  • In partnership with the sales team, formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS.
  • Design and implement generative AI architectures that orchestrate complex workflows across enterprise systems, leveraging AWS services like Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, and Amazon Q
  • Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community.
  • Develop strategic technical roadmaps and implementation plans for generative AI solutions that align with customers’ business objectives and existing architecture
  • Travel is expected to be 20%.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
  • 5+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
