About the role

Staff Product Manager responsible for strategy, roadmap, and AI-enabled manufacturability review (DFM) across geographies. Owns the Intelligent DFM Workbench, partners with data science/ML, and drives measurable outcomes in manufacturing quality and cycle times.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive a multi-year roadmap for DFM across Xometry with a global workbench for staff and AI reviewers
  • Own the Intelligent DFM Workbench as the source of truth for what each order requires to be built
  • Partner with data science and ML engineering to improve manufacturability models and feedback loops from workbench reviews
  • Define and track key metrics (DFM handle time, sign-off latency, delivery-gap, RMA rate, regional rework) and prioritize the roadmap
  • Lead cross-functionally between Engineering, Data Science, UX, Sourcing, Pricing, Order Systems, Quality, and DFM engineers/case managers; present strategy and ROI to leadership

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of product management experience in AI/ML-powered or technical products in B2B, marketplace, or manufacturing/engineering environments
  • Experience owning a system of record or complex data contracts with human-in-the-loop workflows
  • Experience designing policy-driven workflows (approval routing, tiered sign-off, escalation logic)
  • Ability to operate across regions and stakeholder groups to enforce a global design standard
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for engineers and executives
  • Rigorous, data-driven prioritization and experimentation mindset; impact on cycle time, quality, and satisfaction
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and DFM principles (CNC, sheet metal, additive, injection molding); comfort with geometry-based feasibility rules
  • Experience partnering with data science/ML teams to ship models; knowledge of computer vision, 3D/geometric analysis, or LLM/VLM a plus
  • Bachelor's in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field; MBA/MS a plus
