About the role

Customer Advocate responsible for owning all customer relationships throughout the contract, serving as the primary interface between customers and Peregrine’s team, and supporting customers with updates, workflows, and features to the platform. Focuses on user adoption, relationship-building, and translating customer feedback to engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Own all customer relationships throughout the contract and act as the primary interface between customers and Peregrine teams.
  • Represent the voice of the customer to engineers and support the customer with updates, workflows, and platform features.
  • Interpret multiple and complex data sources (dashboards, metrics, onsite visits) to ensure optimal user engagement and outcomes.
  • Drive full user adoption and long-term relationships as top priority.
  • Listen empathetically to solve problems and unlock value for the customer’s work.
  • Identify and navigate internal roadblocks to ensure agency-wide success.
  • Partner with other teams to develop case studies and success stories showcasing Peregrine’s value.
  • Be on-site with customers 50-60% of the time across designated regions (San Francisco, Sonoma, Solano Counties).
  • Travel ~60% of the time.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of direct experience supporting customers to adopt technical software solutions.
  • Previous work directly or in a vendor relationship with law enforcement, public safety, or the military is strongly preferred (not required).
  • Significant experience in the enterprise software space; startup experience is a plus.
  • Ability to listen and synthesize user feedback; provide first-line support throughout the contract.
  • Track record of zero churn and positive net revenue retention.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to communicate technical and non-technical concepts to diverse audiences.
