Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure at Orb. Focus on infrastructure reliability, observability, and scalable, high-growth infrastructure supporting the product—from event ingestion and API services to alerting and invoicing, with a hybrid work setup in SF and quarterly in-person requirements for remote roles.

Responsibilities

  • Lead infrastructure resiliency efforts - recovery mechanisms, tenant isolation, load spike handling, etc
  • Improve observability and operability of our systems
  • Build performance-critical, user-facing infrastructure (eg. real-time event processing)
  • Plan scaling initiatives to handle large customer growth
  • Partner with other engineering teams to ensure we build reliable product features
  • Learn from a talented peer group, and share your expertise

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering
  • 4+ years of experience in the infrastructure domain
