About the role

Role to drive brand storytelling, social-first creative, and culture-defining activations across key platforms while balancing bold brand voice with financial regulation compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Own our social content strategy: Define the voice, tone, and creative point of view for Robinhood’s brand across X, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Reddit — ensuring every post feels distinctly Robinhood and resonates with a Millennial and Gen Z audience.
  • Lead social-first brand campaigns: Partner with Brand, Creative, and Product to conceive and execute social-native campaigns and always-on content that make Robinhood’s mission tangible and culturally relevant.
  • Spearhead social activations: Ideate and execute high-impact brand activations — cultural moments, platform-native stunts, creator collabs, live events, and surprise-and-delight drops — designed to build buzz and deepen affinity with Millennial and Gen Z audiences.
  • Speak fluently to Millennial and Gen Z audiences: Bring a deep, authentic understanding of Millennial and Gen Z culture, humor, platform behavior, and finance-adjacent trends to keep content native and credible.
  • Stay ahead of culture: Track platform algorithm shifts, emerging formats, meme culture, and rising creators to keep brand presence cutting-edge.
  • Translate insights into strategy: Use social listening and performance data to understand what resonates and turn insights into sharper creative decisions.
  • Champion brand and compliance judgment: Ensure all content adheres to Content Standards and financial regulations, balancing bold creativity with guardrails.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in social media, brand marketing, or social-first creative roles at fast-paced consumer tech, fintech, or culturally relevant brands, with end-to-end campaign/activation leadership.
  • Deep fluency in Millennial and Gen Z culture and trends that drive engagement.
  • Experience partnering with brand, creative, and campaign teams to translate stories into native social content and activations.
  • Native understanding of platform nuances (X, TikTok, Instagram, Reddit).
  • Exceptional written and creative communication skills with ability to code-switch between formal briefs and culturally sharp posts.
  • Data-driven mindset with ability to translate metrics into actionable strategy.
  • Ability to thrive in a highly regulated industry balancing bold brand creativity with compliance.
