About the role

Mach9 is hiring two Business Operations Associates to own key processes, solve new operating problems, and help the company scale. This 100% in-office role spans finance, sales, customer support, revenue operations, and other parts of the company, with hands-on execution leading to automation and process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Run recurring operating processes across areas such as order forms and quote-to-cash, billing, accounts receivable, variable compensation, customer setup, and customer operations.
  • Build and maintain reporting, dashboards, OKRs, and analysis that help the company understand what is happening and make better decisions.
  • Take ambiguous operating problems, determine what is happening, identify what needs to change, and drive the solution through execution.
  • Turn solutions into working processes, including workflows, systems, documentation, controls, and recurring execution.
  • Run manual or imperfect processes while identifying opportunities to simplify, improve, automate, or eliminate unnecessary work.
  • Provide general project management and problem-solving across the company.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of work experience in business operations, consulting, finance, strategy, or another highly analytical and execution-oriented environment.
  • A bachelor’s degree, ideally in a quantitative field such as statistics, finance, economics, engineering, computer science, mathematics, or another STEM or analytical discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to use data to understand and address ambiguous problems.
  • Strong bias toward action and ownership of responsibilities.
  • Curiosity about AI and new tools, with an instinct to experiment with automation and productivity improvements.
