About the role

Store Manager position for Arc'teryx Munich, responsible for leading a team, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and managing store operations, brand presentation, community partnerships, and financial performance.

Responsibilities

  • Führung & Teamkultur: lead a high-performing, inclusive, customer-oriented team.
  • Talententwicklung & Coaching: recruit, coach and develop the team; conduct regular feedback; weekly leadership meetings.
  • Kundenerlebnis: spend at least 80% of time on sales floor ensuring exemplary service.
  • Produkt- & Markenpräsentation: manage merchandising, conduct walkthroughs, drive Visual Merchandising, storytelling to showcase products and drive sales.
  • Community Engagement: build local partnerships and events with the community marketing team to raise brand awareness.
  • Operative Exzellenz: ensure smooth operations including scheduling, inventory, and adherence to brand standards.
  • Finanzielle Verantwortung: manage budget, sales forecasts, and cost control to ensure store profitability.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of retail management experience, ideally in premium, outdoor, or sports-lifestyle brands.
  • Budget planning, sales forecasting, and cost control experience; results-oriented with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Passion for exceptional customer experiences; ability to strengthen brand loyalty through service, storytelling, and community activities.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills; proficient with MS Office; experience with inventory, scheduling, and team supervision.
  • Fluent German and English.
  • Willingness to work during key retail periods (e.g., Black Friday, holidays) and ability to lift up to 14 kg.
