About the role

Senior full-stack role building Base360.ai—the AI operating system for short-term rental operators. Own end-to-end product work from problems to shipped features, with a focus on AI-powered workflows, automation, integrations, and scalable architecture in a remote-first environment.

Responsibilities

  • Understand customer problems by working with property managers and internal teams
  • Build products end-to-end from idea to production, including frontend, backend, integrations, testing, and deployment
  • Create intuitive user experiences in collaboration with designers
  • Create powerful automations with event-driven workflows
  • Develop AI-powered features using LLMs and AI agents to automate guest communication, triage maintenance, support pricing decisions, and help operators manage portfolios
  • Connect the ecosystem with reliable APIs and integrations (Airbnb, Hostaway, Stripe, Twilio, OpenAI, Google, etc.)
  • Solve real operational problems across the following areas: real-time reservation and availability synchronization, dynamic pricing, smart lock access, automated guest communication, guest check-in and upsell journeys, operational forecasting, cleaning and maintenance automation, owner reporting and financial workflows, AI-powered monitoring and alerts
  • Measure and improve using customer feedback and usage data to drive adoption and outcomes
  • Build for scale with sound technical decisions around delivery speed, maintainability, security, and reliability as the platform grows

Qualifications

  • Strong experience building and shipping production software
  • Ability to work across frontend and backend systems
  • Experience with React, TypeScript, Python, FastAPI, or similar technologies
  • Strong understanding of APIs, databases, integrations, and cloud architecture
  • Product mindset and curiosity about why users need a feature
  • Good judgment around usability, scope, and technical trade-offs
  • Ability to turn ambiguous problems into practical, working solutions
  • Confidence working directly with customers, designers, and founders
  • Ability to work independently and own outcomes
  • Curiosity about AI, automation, and operational efficiency
  • Bias toward shipping, learning, and iteration
