About the role

NVIDIA System Software team seeking a seasoned system software engineer with kernel-space experience to develop and lead technologies end-to-end, collaborating across teams to deliver high-quality software for kernel-level problems and PCIe-related innovations.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with multi-functional teams to develop system software solutions for kernel-level problems.
  • Discuss architectural details with hardware teams and work together to build software solutions.
  • Participate in different stages of chip development, from inception to production.
  • Follow emerging trends in PCIE and connected sectors, focusing on innovation to boost performance and power efficiency.
  • Solve deep technical problems from existing and new architecture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in working on core system software problems.
  • Extensive knowledge of PCIE and associated technologies.
  • Proficiency in C and kernel-level debugging.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
