About the role

PDE Manager leading a team of Product Deployment Engineers and Data Scientists within gTech Ads, bridging between gTech Ads and Sales to accelerate adoption and deliver measurement and deployment solutions for advertisers across Google’s Ads stack.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure gTech’s value proposition is integrated into Large Customer Sales (LCS) product strategies and maintain deep connectivity with LCS Product Specialist counterparts.
  • Manage executive level stakeholder relationships and oversee operational success of gTech services within the product area.
  • Participate in regional and global Measurement product communities to maintain bi-directional information flow between global product teams and local market squads.
  • Manage, mentor, and build a high-performing team of Product Deployment Engineers (PDEs) and Data Scientists, fostering an entrepreneurial team culture.
  • Coordinate the delivery of technical implementations and advanced platform configurations to graduate advertisers along the product maturity curve.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience working within commercial business organizations, managing executive, cross-functional stakeholders and translating technical needs for commercial goals.
  • 5 years of experience managing a services team (e.g., technical sales, sales or deployment engineers, technical support, or technical consultants).
  • Experience working on measurement and data science from a commercial or product point of view.
  • Experience building and maintaining internal and external stakeholder networks, with experience navigating corporate structures to deliver against plans.
  • Ability to communicate in English and German fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
