About the role
Be part of the Google Augmented Reality team developing custom silicon solutions powering future Google direct-to-consumer products, focusing on immersive computing and high-performance, integrated hardware experiences.
Responsibilities
- Conduct on site reviews of manufacturing processes at partner facilities to ensure compliance with technical requirements and process standards.
- Lead on site root cause analysis for production anomalies and drive rapid corrective actions to maintain yield targets during ramp up.
- Oversee the bring up and qualification of automated production lines, ensuring assembly processes including alignment and curing meet performance requirements.
- Monitor factory floor quality metrics and cosmetic inspection results, ensuring partner processes effectively filter defects to meet shipping quality standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in optical system development.
