About the role

Leader in pre-construction land development and entitlements for Google data centers, coordinating cross-functional teams and external partners to secure infrastructure and on-time capacity delivery across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

  • Negotiate utility infrastructure and extension agreements (water, wastewater, gas, power, roads) with providers and AHJs, ensuring timely, cost-effective extensions with firm capacity and protective terms.
  • Support civil, utility, and building construction programs by ensuring campuses are development ready and aligned with schedules. Coordinate zoning, entitlements, easement actions, environmental mitigations, permitting (air, discharge), and grid or traffic impact studies.
  • Serve as the lead liaison with local and national utility providers for supply strategy. Facilitate critical negotiations between internal technical teams and external partners to secure the utility capacity needed for planned data center developments.
  • Manage all development activities to consistently meet or exceed required infrastructure delivery schedules as determined and communicated by internal capacity planning teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Real Estate or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience of leading negotiations on land entitlements and infrastructure agreements on projects using a combination of internal and external resources.
