About the role

Software Engineering Manager role within Google Ads, leading mobile iOS development and cross-platform work, focusing on end-to-end solutions for innovative ad formats and rendering/user experience at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for managing the overall direction of the team.
  • Provide technical guidance on high priority workstreams, working on a wide range of features related to Mobile Ads iOS SDKs (native Swift and Objective-C) as well as crossplatform JavaScript and backend serving stack.
  • Focus on delivering end-to-end solutions of innovative ad formats as well as rendering and user experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in software development.
  • 3 years of experience with iOS application development.
  • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
  • 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.
