About the role

Data Center Operations Manager responsible for leading a team of Data Center Technicians, overseeing hardware installation and maintenance, and driving safety, process improvements, and project delivery within Google's data center environment in Fredericia, Denmark.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of teams within data center operations.
  • Communicate priorities and facilitate hand-off of operations to following shift leads.
  • Collaborate to identify and resolve problems and create solutions for our global computing and network architecture.
  • Hire, coach and develop a team while achieving business goals.
  • Demonstrate the ability to implement and drive the safety culture at the site, while fostering a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in computing infrastructure, networking, operating systems, or hardware.
  • Experience in people management or team leadership role.
