About the role

NOC-based Transportation Operations role focused on coordinating inbound and outbound freight, resolving issues in real time, and driving customer experience in a 24/7 environment within Amazon’s Network Operation Center (NOC).

Responsibilities

  • Communication with external customers (Carriers, Vendors/Suppliers) and internal customers (Retail, Finance, Software Support, Fulfillment Centers)
  • Systematically escalate problems or variance in information to relevant owners and teams and follow through on resolutions
  • Create narratives of weekly findings and variances to goals and present findings in review forums
  • Provide real-time customer experience by working in a 24x7 operating environment
  • Ideate process improvements and drive them to conclusion
  • Resolve issues across Inbound and Outbound operations to ensure timely pickups and deliveries

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or PhD
