About the role

The Workplace Health and Safety Central Programs team-India (WHS CPT-IN) partners with WW WHS to roll out safety programs globally and ensure a safe and healthy workplace for Amazon associates, contractors, field teams, and partners. The Sr. Associate analyzes injury/illness/near-miss/event data, troubleshoots issues, and communicates findings across teams. This role emphasizes problem solving, learning complex systems, data analysis, and clear communication to drive customer experience while meeting timelines.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end ownership of deliverables with optimum quality and adherence to timelines (SLA).
  • Communication with Internal Stakeholders within the CPT as well as larger WHS Organization.
  • Develop and/or understand performance metrics to assist with driving business results.
  • Scope out business and functional requirements for the CPT who create and enhance the WHS programs.
  • Systematically escalate problems or variance in the information and data to the relevant owners and teams and follow through on the resolutions to ensure they are delivered.
  • Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs, while measuring and identifying activities performed.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
  • Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environment-related field or Engineering
