About the role

Delivery Station Customer Service Associate providing in-station real-time support to ensure on-time deliveries, handling customer communications, resolving issues, and connecting customers with experts. Based at last-mile delivery warehouses with a focus on customer experience within Amazon’s logistics network.

Responsibilities

  • Communicating with customers directly in-person, by phone, and via email
  • Empathizing with and prioritizing customer needs
  • Upholding company values and respecting every customer
  • Resolving issues and setting appropriate expectations
  • Understanding and responding appropriately to customer issues
  • Composing written responses to customer issues
  • Approaching problems logically to ensure appropriate customer outcomes
  • Making quick and effective decisions on behalf of the customer
  • Carrying, lifting up to 49 pounds; frequently pushing/pulling/squatting/bending/reaching
  • Standing and walking during shifts up to 12 hours
  • Working in variable/noisy environments with possible temperature variation
  • Working a flexible Full-Time (40+ hours per week) schedule
  • Liaising with warehouse teams, delivery partners, and customers to resolve delivery issues and reschedule when needed
  • Developing logistical and customer expertise within Amazon’s supply chain

Qualifications

  • High school or equivalent
  • Experience in Customer Service
  • Experience working with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Experience prioritizing and managing time effectively in dynamic environments
  • Familiarity with multiple web browsers, database searching and instant messenger tools
