About the role

Join our AWS team as a Data Center Technician responsible for hardware and network diagnostics, repair, and on-call support to maintain data center uptime and service availability.

Responsibilities

  • Perform server rack installations and hardware break-fix on various components
  • Troubleshoot network issues and respond to operational incidents
  • Carry out routine network, server hardware, and operating system repairs
  • Serve as primary contact point for internal/external stakeholders (engineers, software developers, vendors, contractors)
  • Perform on-call duties and participate in maintenance and change management activities
  • Contribute to documentation and process improvement based on issue analysis
  • Assist in interviewing, training, and onboarding new team members

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of computer networking experience
  • 1+ years of Linux operating systems experience
  • High school or equivalent diploma
  • Experience in computer networking
  • Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair
  • Can lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds
