About the role

Senior Solutions Architect on the AWS Automotive and Manufacturing team, partnering with large automotive and manufacturing customers to craft scalable cloud architectures and drive adoption of AWS services across IoT, edge, HPC, security, data analytics, AI/ML, and digital twin/Industry 4.0 initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with automotive and manufacturing customers, AWS Sales, and other AWS teams to craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient cloud architectures.
  • Drive AWS technology adoption and revenue growth across assigned automotive and manufacturing customers.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor on architectural decisions across connected vehicle platforms, digital twins, smart factory/Industry 4.0 initiatives, supply chain optimization, and software-defined vehicle (SDV) strategies.
  • Guide customers' architectural choices across use cases involving IoT, edge computing, HPC, security, data lakes and analytics, AI/ML, simulation, and robotics, as well as foundational services spanning compute, storage, and networking.
  • Provide technical design guidance and thought leadership, contribute to knowledge sharing within the AWS SA community, and help develop reusable industry reference architectures.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
  • 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
