About the role

Senior member of the Deployment team responsible for growing the business, winning new customer accounts, delivering value to enterprise customers through Cogna’s precision software, and guiding multi-disciplinary teams across pre-sales and ongoing enterprise partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Client Strategy: Work directly with senior partners at customers to understand challenges and objectives, translating into executable strategy and driving new business.
  • Account Leadership: Run complex accounts, manage Deployment teams across accounts, and ensure customers receive transformative value from Cogna.
  • Solution Ratification: Determine how to best use the Cogna platform to solve problems, coach others, and maintain a product-focused approach delivering exponential value.
  • Relationship Management: Build strong internal relationships across Exec, GTM, and engineering, knowing when to involve others.
  • Industry Expertise: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of utilities, energy, manufacturing, and construction trends to inform decisions.
  • Team Leadership: Manage Deployment Strategists and Analysts, focusing on growth trajectories and high performance.
  • Get Hands On: Occasionally contribute hands-on work on the platform as needed, regardless of seniority.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field
  • At least ten years of proven experience solving complex client problems using customizable software/product (e.g., product management, systems engineering, deployment strategist, technical consultancy)
  • Experience leading and growing high-performance teams (hiring, role mapping, resourcing, performance management)
  • Experience leading complex multi-million-pound enterprise accounts at multiple stages (pre-sales, post-sales, expansion)
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to solve challenging problems under pressure, and articulate complex concepts clearly
  • Evidence of owning workstreams end-to-end and creating playbooks or new capabilities
  • Experience writing code, leveraging AI, and manipulating data
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple accounts and ambiguity
  • Experience in utilities, energy, manufacturing, or construction (bonus)
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and oversee deployments
