About the role

Quality Control Inspector responsible for visual and functional inspections across production steps at Pebble, documenting findings, and driving continuous improvement to meet high standards of craftsmanship, performance, and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Perform incoming, in-process, and end-of-line quality inspections while helping to develop and refine checklists, visual standards, and acceptance criteria
  • Identify and document nonconformities
  • Execute containment and re-inspection activities as needed
  • Create and communicate quality alerts to address recurring issues
  • Perform quality gate inspections and provide feedback to production and engineering teams to resolve root causes
  • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and critical-to-quality steps
  • Maintain clean and safe work areas in compliance with company policies
  • Actively participate in process improvements and corrective action implementation
  • Help ensure production targets are met without compromising quality

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or quality control
  • Strong attention to detail and visual inspection skills
  • Basic knowledge of inspection tools (e.g., calipers, thread gauges, paint meters)
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions
  • Proficiency with Jira and Google workspace tools
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced startup environment
