About the role

Junior QA Engineer specialized in back-end testing within a microservices-based Ajax Systems ecosystem. Focus on testing back-end components, API, databases, and internal protocols in a fast-growing on-site environment in Kyiv.

Responsibilities

  • Test Back-end systems
  • Work with proprietary binary protocol, as well as gRPC and API
  • Test within monolithic and microservices architectures
  • Work with databases and stores: MongoDB, Redis, S3
  • Work with internal emulators
  • Participate in analysis and update of technical documentation
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, Beta Test participants, and Support teams
  • Work with Git and Jenkins

Qualifications

  • Understanding of SDLC/STLC and software testing theory
  • Ability to create and maintain various types of test documentation
  • Deep understanding of client-server architecture principles
  • Understanding of REST API concepts
  • Understanding of database principles
