About the role
F&B Turnstand Supervisor at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort leads food and beverage operations for turnstand, manages a team of attendants, inventories, and ensures high-quality guest service with hands-on coaching and problem-solving to maintain smooth operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead your team. You'll schedule staff, train new hires, and coach team members through busy periods. Maintain service flow and morale during hectic times.
- Keep operations running smoothly. Manage inventory, handle cash reconciliation, and ensure health and safety standards are met. Troubleshoot issues like broken grills or low inventory.
- Provide hands-on service. Take orders, prepare food, and serve guests alongside your team. Coordinate with events to match service pace of play.
- Maintain high standards. Ensure turnstand facilities are clean and organized, train staff on policies and procedures, and communicate operational needs and guest concerns to management.
Qualifications
- Supervisory experience in food service (restaurants, hotels, or other hospitality settings).
- Comfort with POS systems and cash management; openness to learning new technology and procedures.
- Ability to multitask and maintain professionalism under pressure.
- Willingness to obtain Food Handler's certification within 30 days and Oregon Liquor Control Commission certification within 60 days (support provided).
