About the role

The Global Safety & Security Team supports safety, security operations and crisis management across Datadog’s enterprise, focusing on developing safety compliance and security programs, incident investigations, and regional/global security initiatives. Hybrid work environment with offices in Sydney or Singapore, with domestic and international travel.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day global safety and security operations for Datadog’s regional offices in APAC, including co-working locations; provide ad-hoc coverage for EMEA and AMER regions as needed.
  • Oversee investigations, health and safety compliance, security risk management, travel safety, event security, budgeting, crisis management, emergency response, property loss management and global safety and security system management; enforce security policies regionally.
  • Document and disseminate security protocols; develop regional policies, technical security solutions, safety protocols, emergency preparedness training; liaise with local law enforcement in offices.
  • Collaborate with Office Operations, Real Estate, IT, Legal, Events and People; maintain stakeholder communication to align on global safety and security initiatives; ensure training on emergency plans and incident response protocols.
  • Execute daily operations and strategic initiatives for workplace safety and security; manage contract security personnel and incident response.
  • Identify long-term organizational needs; develop strategic plans, obtain executive approval, define objectives, secure resources, and execute milestones.
  • Provide assessments and briefings to leadership on corrective actions and urgency.
  • Facilitate tabletop exercises for regional offices on emergency preparedness, crisis management and resilience.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in corporate physical security and safety roles within a global security environment, with specific expertise in APAC regions.
