About the role

Leader in safety & security operations for a global tech company, focused on developing programs, incident management, and crisis response across APAC with potential coverage for EMEA and AMER regions. Hybrid work in Singapore or Sydney with travel.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day global safety and security operations for Datadog’s regional offices in APAC, including co-working locations and assist with global initiatives.
  • Oversee investigations, health and safety compliance, security risk management, travel safety, event security, budgeting, crisis management, emergency response, property loss management and global safety and security system management.
  • Document and disseminate security protocols; develop regional policies, technical security solutions, safety protocols, emergency preparedness training; liaise with local law enforcement.
  • Collaborate with Office Operations, Real Estate, IT, Legal, Events and People; ensure stakeholder alignment and training on emergency plans.
  • Execute daily operations and strategic initiatives for workplace safety, contract security personnel management, and incident response.
  • Identify long-term organizational needs; develop strategic plans, obtain executive approval, secure resources, and execute milestones.
  • Provide assessments and briefings to leadership on corrective actions and urgency; facilitate tabletop exercises for regional offices.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in corporate physical security and safety roles within a global security environment, with APAC expertise.
  • Experience in managing a physical security program (Executive Protection, Event Security, Travel Security).
  • Experience building and growing regional/global safety programs to scale with organizational needs.
  • Knowledge of global technical security monitoring systems; ability to review architectural plans and plan physical security design.
  • Familiarity with enterprise physical security risk management principles and risk assessments.
