About the role
Leadership role overseeing the Circuit Co-Design function within NVIDIA's Silicon Co-Design Group, responsible for people, methodology, and outcomes in silicon bring-up, post-silicon validation, and circuit co-design for safety, reliability, and performance features.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of senior engineers across silicon bring-up, post-silicon validation, and circuit co-design for safety, reliability, and performance enhancement features, including noise, dI/dt, and power integrity challenges across the full PVT space and product lifetime.
- Set technical direction: characterize circuits, close simulation-to-silicon gaps, quantify noise and dI/dt margins, analyze aging and reliability mechanisms, triage failures, and drive fixes to confirmation.
- Own the hard calls on reliability margins, noise coupling, hidden variables behind failures, and production program risk.
- Hire and develop engineers with depth in circuit co-design, power integrity, noise characterization, reliability physics, and post-silicon validation.
- Drive cross-functional alignment at the intersection of circuit design, architecture, VLSI, PDN, reliability engineering, firmware, and product.
Qualifications
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
- 10+ overall years in silicon validation, circuit co-design, or post-silicon characterization, with at least 3 years leading technical teams.
- Deep circuit fundamentals — analog, digital, mixed-signal — with expertise in power integrity, noise analysis, dI/dt characterization, and reliability and aging mechanisms.
- Hands-on background with substrate and supply noise analysis, PDN design and mitigation, and silicon reliability mechanisms.
- Track record of hiring strong engineers, developing them into recognized experts, and retaining them.
- Ability to hold technical depth and organizational breadth across multiple programs.
