About the role

Internship focused on developing and extending GPU-accelerated image and data processing libraries, with mentorship from senior engineers. Tasks include implementing algorithms, defining APIs, performance analysis, and handling numerical edge cases for AI and HPC applications.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with team members and partners to understand software use cases and requirements.
  • Research, analyze, and document state-of-the-art algorithms
  • Develop algorithms for image and data compression and processing
  • Analyze and improve performance of existing implementations

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Math, or related field
  • Programming skills (C/C++, Python)
  • Parallel or GPU programming experience (AVX, NEON, OpenMP, MPI, CUDA or OpenCL)
  • Experience with image coding (jpg, tiff, etc) or data compression algorithms (LZW, DEFLATE, etc)

Benefits

  • Internship pay is based on position, location, year in school, degree, and experience
  • For Poland: annual range 117,750 PLN - 204,100 PLN (pro-rated for duration of internship)
