About the role

Remediation Advisor within Google Cloud's Mandiant Security Transformation Services to guide clients through remediation during and after cybersecurity incidents, coordinating eradication, recovery, and transformation efforts with incident response teams and client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with and advise executive organizational stakeholders through proactive and transformational security initiatives.
  • Advise and guide clients through testing cybersecurity incidents and recovery across a range of technologies.
  • Lead incident response and remediation workstreams, manage projects, coordinate resources, and track progress to ensure client outcomes.
  • Orchestrate and manage critical security operations (e.g., enterprise-wide password resets) for minimal disruption and maximum effectiveness.
  • Manage assigned resources, including coordinating with subcontractors, to provide clients with seamless technical support throughout remediation.
  • Travel up to 30% and support the weekend on-call roster once every 6–8 weeks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years' experience managing or leading a security program, coordinating technical projects, and guiding delivery teams to implement technical recommendations.
  • Experience applying core cybersecurity principles and enterprise security architecture across heterogeneous environments.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% and support the weekend on-call roster once every 6–8 weeks.
