About the role

Technical Account Manager (TAM) helping customers adopt Google Cloud, leading cloud transformation engagements, and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure successful adoption and delivery of cloud consulting projects.

Responsibilities

  • Accelerate customer adoption of Google Cloud by leading the implementation journey. Provide technical guidance and manage timelines, milestones, migration goals and business transformation strategies.
  • Advocate for customer needs to overcome adoption blockers and drive new feature development. Lead across multiple work streams and teams to maintain customer momentum.
  • Develop strategic relationships with key stakeholders (particularly C-Suite and IT teams) to understand a customer’s business and develop strategic roadmaps. Lead quarterly business reviews and executive sessions.
  • Plan for customer events and launches, partnering with Support, Engineering and SRE to ensure customer success during critical moments. Guide issues and escalations to resolution with customers and Support.
  • Develop best practices and assets from customer engagements to help scale initiatives through partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role driving technical implementations or transformation programs.
  • Experience supporting customers in cloud operations (launch or capacity planning, product release management), technical support, escalation management, or IT consulting.
  • Ability to communicate in English and German fluently.
