About the role

Technical Program Manager role focused on leading commercial governance, pricing, and supply chain activities for Google’s XR hardware initiatives, coordinating with silicon foundries, OSATs, and ODMs to manage costs, risk, and component qualification within a multi-disciplinary XR program.

Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial governance, wafer pricing, and capacity reservation with silicon foundries, Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Tests (OSAT) vendors, and fabless chipmakers.
  • Establish dynamic pricing models and strategic inventory buffers for volatile memory commodities, including LPDDR and UFS storage.
  • Drive engineering second-sourcing, pin-compatible component qualification, and schematic review to eliminate single-point supply vulnerabilities.
  • Manage perception sensor roadmaps, RFQ evaluations, total cost of ownership negotiations, and quarterly business reviews.
  • Coordinate silicon allocations, pricing pass-throughs, and material fulfillment across internal product teams and Asian manufacturing ODMs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Supply Chain Management, Business, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in semiconductor commodity management, global supply management, or silicon procurement within consumer electronics, mobile, wearable, or semiconductor industries.
  • 5 years of experience negotiating commercial agreements, wafer capacity allocations, or packaging and test (OSAT) pricing with semiconductor foundries, fabless chipmakers, or memory manufacturers.
  • 5 years of experience managing multi-sourcing programs and qualification workflows for alternate electronic components (e.g., MCUs, PMICs, or sensors) with engineering teams and ODMs.
