About the role

Product Manager II responsible for guiding Chrome Open Media technologies, including HDR and geometry compression, from conception to launch; partners with engineers, designers, and external collaborators to develop frontier media technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Set product requirements and manage launch of next-generation HDR, geometry compression, and related technologies.
  • Identify market opportunities and define product strategy, as well as understand customer needs and gather product requirements.
  • Advocate our technologies to internal and external partners.
  • Track developments in the media ecosystems and identify opportunities for new products and features.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to help manage a reasonable schedule for execution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
  • Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.
