About the role

Technical Program Manager role within Google's Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) focusing on physical security technology delivery, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration to keep Google and its employees safe.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze operational processes and business requirements to align with technology roadmap, accessibility, scalable growth, automation, and risk mitigation.
  • Deliver technology solutions against strategic plans through requirements gathering, user stories, lab testing, and rollout/communication plans; evaluate, integrate, and implement third-party solutions.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance for junior colleagues and stakeholders as a subject matter expert in physical security.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of deployed solutions; iterate to improve user experience and outcomes.
  • Manage highly confidential information and safeguard company intellectual property.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience with security assessments or security design reviews or threat modeling.
  • 5 years of experience with security engineering, computer and network security and security protocols.
  • 5 years of experience with coding in one or more general purpose languages.
  • 1 year of experience leading teams in a technical capacity or leading technical risk analysis in an enterprise environment.
