About the role

Senior Manager leading Technical Program Management for Google's Home and Trackers hardware, coordinating with JDM partners and cross-functional teams to deliver multiple complex hardware development projects.

Responsibilities

  • Organize, lead and grow the EPM team to deliver 5 to 10 simultaneous complex hardware development projects in close cooperation with the manufacturing partner (JDM partner) and internal cross-functional teams. Manage external partners and the relationship with cross-functional teams is a core area of responsibility.
  • Manage the EPM team, including all aspects of people management.
  • Be a highly credible thought leader within Google and industry on the subject matter domain of the respective organization.
  • Drive measurable program performance gains correlated to execution velocity. Establish governance over prioritization decisions to ensure alignment with key performance indicators.
  • Be a change advocate responsible for initiating and leading multiple organizations through pivots needed to address shifts in business trends and priorities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of engineering program management experience in leading hardware development projects in partnership with contract manufacturers, both in ODM and JDM engagements.
  • 7 years of experience in leadership role(s) with/without direct reports.
