About the role

Program Manager role within the Google Payments Compliance team, focusing on tracking readiness for product and compliance launches, coordinating cross-functional efforts, and establishing governance frameworks to scale and stay audit-ready.

Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end project planning for launches with compliance implications by coordinating cross-functional teams across Compliance, Operations, Legal, Finance and partnering closely with product and engineering as a central point of contact.
  • Support the payments issues management program by partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to address and close issues stemming from audits and regulatory exams, supported by clear processes and standards, enforced accountability, and rigorous tracking and reporting.
  • Support core governance activities to establish consistency across multiple regions and teams through unified frameworks and facilitating operational planning exercises.
  • Act as the central anchor to maintain alignment, track milestones, eliminate operational hurdles, and ensure complete launch readiness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in compliance, risk management, investigation, auditing, legal, or consulting.

Benefits

  • US: $111000 - $159000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
