About the role

Google software engineers develop next-generation technologies at scale across platforms and devices. This role focuses on infrastructure for ChromeOS/Platforms & Devices, with opportunities to work across full stack, systems, and AI-enabled improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Write product or system development code.
  • Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
  • Develop ways to apply AI to increase team velocity, make our systems work more intelligently, and solve infra-related problems for our users.
  • Perform integration testing, process automation, monitoring, and bug fixing.
  • Develop full stack web applications, backend systems, pipelines, or tools across varied codebases.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
  • 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
